Dismas Counselor and Social Coordinator Wrap Presents for Residents
Dismas Charities Louisville Counselor Ticola Bowling,and Social Service Coordinator Alexis Purcell, (pictured from right to left) wrapped Christmas packages for residents at the Dismas facility. The gifts included detergent, toiletries, and other items for residents. Dismas and the Second Street Neighborhood Association provided funding for the gifts and Packaging Unlimited contributed gift items.
Dismas Charities – Louisville Family Christmas Party
On Dec. 23, Dismas Charities Louisville held a Christmas event for residents and their families at its facility. The residents and their children spent time making ginger-bread ornaments, candy-cane reindeer, and decorating cookies. Santa Claus stopped by the party to visit with the children and their families.
Dismas Savannah “Helping Feed the Hungry”
This Thanksgiving, Dismas Charities Savannah staff and residents joined Savannah Feed the Hungry for its Third Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the WW Law Center in Savannah. Dismas Laredo helps dress their residents and the community
Dismas Charities Laredo has partnered with All for Community Empowerment to provide clothes and shoes to local schools, community centers and churches. The group, which provides job readiness training for Dismas Laredo, also provided residents with vouchers for clothing.
