Dismas Charities Savannah Staff Participate In Fire Suppression Training

Recently the Savannah staff participated in training in recognizing and fighting all types of fires, and the proper use of fire extinguishers and hoses. The training, conducted by members of the Savannah Chatham Fire Department, included classroom instruction, followed by an outside, hands-on demonstration where staff were able to put the instruction into practice.

Dismas Charities Orlando Bake Sale Benefits Alzheimer’s

Orlando staff members brought in home baked or purchased cookies, brownies, pies, and cakes and raised $157 for their annual fundraiser.  This year’s recipient was the October 18 Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, an event in which both residents and staff participated.
