Dismas Charities Montgomery Holds Intensive Resident Monitor Training

The Montgomery facility held an intensive eight-hour training class for all Resident Monitors in mid-June. “The training was an overview of every task assigned them and designed to make an average monitor a great monitor,” said Director Moszetta Nix (above left). Some staff were recognized with certificates for outstanding achievement in several special categories: They included: Best Managed Shift, Entering Effective RAM Comments, Most Dependable Staff, Most Improved Staff, and Most Professional Staff Dealing with Staff and Residents. The winner for the Best of The Best Award, presented for professionally exhibiting all those traits, was Resident Monitor Abigail Williams (above right). She was crowned, presented with flowers, and given a wallet as a special gift. Administration staff covered all three shifts so that all monitors (last picture below) could participate in the training. Resident Monitor Luqman Seraaj (first picture below).
