Former Dania Beach resident CeCe Espeut, now a sought-after speaker and advocate of second chances for offenders, visited the facility to talk about her successes following incarceration. She was a resident at the Dismas residential re-entry facility following a two-year federal sentence for drug conspiracy. According to her website, Espeut uses charm and wit to disarm people and deliver life lessons about reinventing oneself and offer solu-tions that work. She now visits programs like Dania Beach, drug treatment centers, jails and prisons where she also covers topics such as breaking the cycle, how to have criminal records sealed, ex-punged or pardoned.
