For the first time, the Atlanta program held a Job Fair that was open to not only its residents, but to those on supervised release with the U.S. Probation Office. The 12 employers attending, who expressed an interest in hiring those with a criminal history, were TRC Staffing, Independent Electrical Contractor, Diaz Foods, Man Power Staffing, American Management Staffing, Smart Staffing, CKS Packaging, United Hospitality Services, Fanatics Sports, the Urban League, Airport Employment and Training Center, and Jan Pro. A week earlier the residents attended a Dress for Success seminar designed to prepare them for the Job Fair. Residents Anita Ford and Roger Haynes (inset) demonstrate that they understood the meaning of dressing for a successful career.
