Over a dozen Dismas residents volunteered their time to help demolish an abandoned property in Macon, Georgia and clear the entire site for construction of a new homeless shelter. Barbra Williams, a former resident of the Dismas program in Atlanta and Founder of the Jesus Set the Captive Free (JSCF) group, spearheaded the effort. JSCF was formed in 2001 out of a need to support male and female offenders who need an opportunity to succeed, Williams said.
