On Oct 23, the Savannah facility hosted their 2nd Annual Pink and Purple event to raise awareness about breast cancer and domestic violence. Guest speakers included breast cancer survivor Yolandra Shipp and domestic violence survivor Monica Burgstiner. Following the event the attendees participated in a balloon release. The Dismas Charities Macon facility held a similar observance.
