Oversight Specialist Katie Murdock got the chance to experience
the power of a police K-9 unit in early November when they donned a
Bite Sleeve in a simulated “take down”. The exercise, performed by
Sioux City Police Officer Paul Yaneff and his dog Cash, took place
during a BOP audit and building search. All three “perpetrators” described
it as a fun, yet slightly terrifying, experience.
