During a recent Staff Meeting, the Sioux City facility began an activity called Praise and Improvement. Like speed dating, staff sit across from one another to discuss work-related issues in a “safe” environment. Each participant was required to relate to their partner something they did well at work and something where they felt improvement was needed. The concept was developed by Director Robyn Deacon who noted that all too often staff came to her for solutions rather than work out issues among themselves
