
Fourteen residents of the Louisville-based Diersen Substance Abuse Program graduated from Goodwill’s Virtual Soft Skills Academy Re-entry Class. The federally-funded program, launched last year, is designed to break the cycle of poverty, crime and incarceration in America, according to Director Ronyal Horton. One of the objectives is to ensure that the graduates become responsible citizens, are provided with employment and education opportunities, and sustain a stable residence.
