On March 10, 15 Spalding University Occupational Therapy student interns provided four life lessons sessions for Portland residents. The sessions included paying attention to our feelings, practicing appropriate ways to meet needs; sleep hygiene, which explored how healthy sleep patterns can assist in the ability to accomplish one’s desired goals, and money management, which identified steps to create a monthly budget. The best budgets begin with a plan, and physical exercise, which helps the brain function and contributes to overall health.
