Probation and Parole Officers Shaun Adams, Ryan Blakeman, and James Henderson provided Frisk Search training for St. Ann staff. Staff were shown search techniques, examples of improper versus proper methods of pat searches, and a description of the risks and dangers involved in physical searches. “This training was an excellent opportunity to network with qualified professionals within the criminal justice system to enhance our abilities,” said Director Mark Meredith. During a practical simulation, staff were provided contraband items to hide on their person, allowing staff to demonstrate their ability to locate it.
