Dismas Charities Tupelo Helps Salvation Army

For the second consecutive year Tupelo staff and residents volunteered to help The Salvation Army set up for their annual Empty Bowls luncheon, their largest fundraiser to provide support for the community. “It is a great way for our residents to give back to them for helping our residents in need throughout the year,” said Social Services Coordinator Keri Dykes. Staff and residents helped set up tables, unload trucks, and helped vendors set up. Residents who assisted included Ronnie Allbritton, Don Johnson, Virgil Goasa, and Charles Kennedy. Staff assisting included Director Tina Johnson, Counselors Jacqueline Forbes and Jerry Traylor, Dykes, and Intern Monica Hopper.
