Two Albuquerque employees, Employment Specialist Angelo Abeyta and Cook Mark Garson, participated in the annual New Mexico State Fair Parade, the longest established and biggest parade in the state where everyone is invited to join in. The theme of this year’s parade was “Love is in the Fair” with Abeyta marching with the 505 Albuquerque Niner Empire, an organization of San Francisco 49ers fans who support community events and fundraisers. Garson marched as a supporter of ACE Leadership High School where students, in spite of substantial obstacles they have faced, choose to continue their education.
