In October, Memphis hosted its 8th annual Resident Job Fair with 18 residents hired by the 13 agencies attending. Participating agencies included Workforce Investment Network, Memphis & Shelby County Office of Re -entry, Private First Class Driving Academy, A-One Staffing, Vocational Rehabilitation, Iron Workers, MidSouth Community College, Vatteratt College, Remmington College, Messick Adult Education and Employment Training, Transit Express, C&S Transportation, and the Chamber of Commerce Employment Development arm. The event was coordinated by Employment Specialists Ashley Moore and Shalonda Wilson, and Resident Monitor Jacqueline Macklin.
