With guidance from The Grateful Threads group of Jeffersontown Christian Church, several clients of the Louisville-based Diersen Sub-stance Abuse Program crocheted and knitted 35 scarves and hats for the homeless residents of Wayside Christian Mission. The clients, all members of New Life in Christ Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), participated in the fourth annual outreach project, some of which had never touched a crochet hook or knitting needle.
