Dismas Charities Hattiesburg Director Treats Staff To Luncheon

9-18-2014_HattiesburgLunchFor exceptional performance Hattiesburg director Chris Kelly took every one of his current, retired and past staff members – employed from April 2013 to March 2014 – to lunch to show his appreciation for a perfect annual inspection report from the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).  Kelly said he “wanted to show my appreciation for their hard work and dedication and acknowledgment of their contribution (for) getting the highest rating…. I decided this was a great way to let them know that I could not have achieved it without them.” The annual audit, known as the Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR), also called the “report card”, gauges every aspect of the facility and its staff in six demanding criteria. During the luncheon, Maintenance Staffer Willis Martin, Accounting Clerk Diana Locke, and Cook Shirley Steele received Certificates of Achievement “for their consistent, steady and superb performance,” Kelly said.
