On March 31, Dr. Johnnie Myers, a Savannah Volunteer, hosted an HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention seminar for the residents. Topics discussed included safe sex, sexually transmitted diseases, needle sharing and avoiding behavior that is considered high risk. Dr. Meyers also addressed myths about the transmission of HIV and AIDS and answered questions from the residents. […]
