Montgomery AL: implements Performance Tests

In mid-March, all Montgomery Resident Monitor staff began performance testing over sighted by Resident Monitor Supervisor Jonathan Merriwether. The Resident Monitor Performance Test, was developed to identify weaknesses and strengths in the monitor functions. The test included facility safety and security searches, logs and reports, the intake and discharge process, medication, incident reports, general duties, and RAM operations. Each staff receives one point for every correct answer, and one point for correctly performing a hands-on demonstration, with a maximum of 100 points. Certificates were awarded to those scoring over 90 percent while those under that level receive additional training.
