Dismas Charities, Inc., along with Orbis Partners of Ottawa, Canada, released the results of the use of the SPin, Risk Needs and Strength Assessment on re-entry populations. The study, authored by Drs. David Robinson and Natalie Jones of Orbis and Dismas’ own Regional Vice President Faith Good , definitively supports the concept that the greater the alignment of the results of the Risk/Needs/Strength Assessment with the application of program hours, the greater the increase in successful program completion. This mirrors comments made by Dismas President/CEO Ray Weis in his State of the Company presentation (See Page 1). The research, which is in the process of publication, offers additional insights to successful re-entry. Stay tuned!
