In late April, Dania Beach Director Ivonne Cavanaugh and a large group of residents volunteered their time to help with the OASIS Community Clean-up. The OASIS program focuses on improving the city’s neighborhoods and fostering neighborhood pride and enhancement. “Dismas Charities Dania Beach is proud to be part of any community event that will make a difference not only in the community but in the life of our residents as well,” Cavanaugh said. Miss Dania Beach paid a surprise visit to the workers.
