Dania Beach (FL) Assistant Director Ivonne Cavanaugh (left) and Director Ana Gispert (right) recently met the ALS Ice Bucket fund-raising challenge by being doused in ice water. They were challenged to participate by Counselor Samantha Papin to help raise money for the debilitating and life threatening disease, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. In turn, Gispert and Cavanaugh have challenged regional Federal Bureau of Prisons and U.S. Probation officials to participate. Other Dismas staff who accepted the challenge are Papin and Resident Monitor Ehrens Desir. According to Gispert, a $10 donation fee is required to participate. But if you refuse, a $100 contribution is expected.
