Staff and residents from the Orlando facility have donated over $200 worth of school supplies to help 40 underprivileged children being served by the Church of New Faith of Eatonville. Among the items donated were paper, pens, pencils, crayons, and scissors. The nearby church is one of the many sites helped by the facility. The city of Eatonville was the first incorporated all-black city in the nation.
