In 2015, eight residents, seven staff and family from both groups, participated in the annual AIDS Walk sponsored by the Hope and Health agency, a local HIV clinic. The Orlando facility raised $300 from the sale of baked goods and a “Jean Day” where staff were allowed to wear jeans for a $3 contribution to the event. Hope and Health was also present during the facility’s annual Spring Festival providing HIV testing to over 20 residents.
