For the second consecutive year the Salvation Army has honored the Orlando program with the “Most Available Volunteer Group” award. A plaque was presented during the Army’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony. “There is never a time where the organization has needed emergency volunteer assistance that Dismas Charities Orlando was not available,” said Salvation Army Volunteer Coordinator Octavio Seranno. “Their residents are very kind, reliable, and work very hard on our projects, and can be counted on even with the shortest last minute notice.
