Dismas Charities Atlanta Interns Tour Russell Federal Building

Atlanta staff and interns took a tour of the Richard B. Russell Federal Building that offered them the opportunity to learn more about governmental agencies, the federal court system, and the various aspects of the federal criminal justice system. Meetings were held with Chief Magistrate Judge Linda T. Walker, who discussed court procedures and ruling decisions, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Tracia King who explained the difference between the court divisions. During the tour Senior Probation Officer Candice Logan noted that she once served an internship with the Northern District of Georgia U.S. Probation Office and is now its Senior Probation Officer. The tour was coordinated by Assistant Deputy Chief U.S. Probation Officers Christopher Colquitt and Vincent Collins.
