Staff from the Dania Beach program recently participated in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. The event included law enforcement representatives from over 300 Florida agencies, the FBI, DEA, U.S. Customs, Air Force Police and Marine Patrol. Each year, over 5,000 officers carry the torch on a 1,500 mile relay through 67 Florida counties.
