Dismas Charities Savannah Celebrates Dismas 50th Anniversary

In early September, the Savannah (GA) facility celebrated Dismas’ 50^th Anniversary at Tom Triplett Park overlooking the lake. The program included the history of Dismas, a slide show presentation of Savannah’s involvement in the community, remarks by Regional Vice President Jimmy Jones, and presentation of a $200 check to the Groves High School Cheerleaders, which the facility is sponsoring. Savannah partner organizations that attended included the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Wells Fargo, Social Apostle, Calvary Assembly of God, Savannah Counseling, and all the Directors and Assistant Directors of Dismas’ Region 3.
