The Dismas Charities Savannah program participated in the annual observance of National Night Out, an event designed to build relationships between the community and police and heighten awareness of crime and drug prevention. “The event sends a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back,” said Director Katina Wheeler who, along with Counselor Ahmad Scott (right) and Resident Monitor Brandon Cave (left), passed out literature about Dismas and cotton candy to the children attending.
