The Savannah staff went down in flames during a recent kickball game against Bethesda Academy, a private, boarding and day school for young men in grades 6-12. According to Director Katina Wheeler, the Dismas team “thought they were young enough to play against the boys” but discovered that “age played a big factor” in the 35-5 loss. The event was held to mark Child Abuse Awareness Month. A re-match will likely be scheduled, Wheeler reports.
