Dismas Charities Savannah Staff, Residents View Hidden Figures Film

Savannah staff and residents viewed the hit movie Hidden Figures, the story of three African-American women who served vital roles in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big. “I wish that I would have learned about this story in school,” one resident noted. Attendees included Assistant Director Brandon Miller, Social Services Coordinator Jamie Hoff, Administrative Assistant Latoya Roberts, Employment Specialist Yusef Curry, Counselor Ahmad Scott, Resident Monitor Deneisha Nelson, Interns Tawanna Hamilton and Aviaunna Young, and Residents Tyrone Glover, Tony Robinson, Rashawn Ferebee, Darrell Cannon, and Joseph Bryant.
