In October, Savannah Mayor Pro Tem Van Johnson conducted Ethics and Professionalism training at the facility. Johnson is a POST certified instructor and facilitator of the Law Enforcement Academy for the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department. He is also an Alderman for the city, representing the district in which the Savannah program is located. Staff from Macon and Atlanta joined in the training, including Regional Vice President Jimmy Jones.
