The Sioux City program was recently presented with a certificate from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) organization for their assistance to Resident Monitor Cody Leonard during his recent Air Force deployment to Qatar and in meeting his military obligations. The Above and Beyond Award was presented on behalf of the men and women of the National Guard and reserve forces for outstanding service and continuing support to the national defense and for accommodating Leonard in his various military absences from the facility. Sioux City was selected for the honor following a written nomination submitted by Leonard, who also received “care” packages from staff during his deployment.
