Dismas Charities Holds CS Supervisor Training

Dismas Charities operates seven state residential reentry programs in Kentucky. Three of them are host to state residents who are required to perform community service at designated government or non-profit work sites. They include everything from work at food banks, municipalities, animal shelters, clothes closets, homeless shelters, and historic homes. Currently Dismas residents assist at 30 different sites including four abandoned cemeteries. In mid-May, the Dismas centers in Louisville gathered 96 community work crew supervisors together at the St. Ann facility for annual training, chaired by Louisville Portland Director Robert Lanning.
