The success of Ricky Shelton, a former Resident of our Dismas Charities St. Ann Substance Abuse Program (SAP) in Louisville, Kentucky, is a perfect example of what can be achieved when a person acknowledges their addiction and realizes that they have a choice as to how they will live life. Mr. Shelton’s choice was to turn his life over to God and away from drugs and alcohol which he views as synonymous with hell.
