Shayne Duvall, a former Counselor and Case Manager at Dismas Charities, was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest in late May by Louisville Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz. While with Dismas, Father Duvall served at the Portland (KY) facility. Father Duvall shared with Dismas President/CEO Ray Weis and Executive Vice President Jan Kempf, who attended both his ordination and first Mass, that his time with Dismas played an instrumental part in his decision to assist others through the priesthood. Father Duvall has been assigned to St. James Catholic Church, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky as its Associate Pastor.
