Dismas Charities, Inc. wants to wish everyone a pleasant and safe Fourth of July, a Federal holiday set aside to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, the day on which the United States formally separated from Great Britain. And while there are other formal holidays set aside to recognize our many members of the military, Dismas wants to have everyone remember that they should be thanked for helping maintain that Independence.
