On this coming Memorial Day may we all remember and honor those who have died while serving in our country’s armed forces. The remembrance, which originated as Decoration Day after the American Civil War, is significant not just because we honor them but, in some small measure, recognize them for insuring that we live in a country free of boundaries and tyranny. Dismas Charities, Inc. is justly proud of its veterans who leave us to serve, but may not return.
