Tupelo residents have begun enjoying the harvest from their garden. Here (from left) Residents Johnny Riggins, Willie Stevenson, and Queston Skipper can be seen shelling peas. “It’s been wonderful to see residents from all different backgrounds and walks of life work on this garden together as well as see those who had no previous knowledge of gardening learn and labor,” said Director Tina Johnson. Other produce from the garden includes peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, okra and butter beans.
