Dismas Charities Tupelo Staff And Residents Help In 8 Days Of Hope

Upon hearing that a retired school teacher was unable to repair her property following the April 28 tornado that struck the Tupelo (MS) area, two staff and three residents came to her aid. From July 15-17, staff and residents participated in the 8 Days of Hope campaign to help citizens rebuild their damaged or destroyed homes and businesses. With other volunteers, Dismas helped build a deck and privacy fence. The teacher was very grateful for the help. Below left is Social Services Coordinator Keri Dykes who, upon hearing of the humanitarian effort, headed the sign-ups for staff and residents.
