Kearney Nebraska Director Jack Morgan (right) spoke at the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Office’s orientation event, designed to reduce the stress and provide hope to individuals on Pretrial Supervision who are facing federal prison sentences. Other speakers included those from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Veteran’s Affairs, Legal Aid of Nebraska, and a representative from a mentor-ship program. Former federal inmates who are currently on or have finished probation also spoke. The day following the event, Nebraska Chief Probation and Pretrial Services Officer Mary Lee Ranheim (left) toured the Kearney program.
