Dismas Charities Greensboro & Other Agencies Plan Offender Job Fair

The Greensboro program has partnered with the Greensboro Police Department and the Interactive Resource Center (IRC) to produce an Offender Job Fair in late June. Meeting to make the arrangements for the event, to be held at IRC’s offices, are Deputy Police Chief J.E. Hinson, Counselor Elizabeth Gainey, Lieutenant/ Executive Officer to the Chief Calvin Stevens, Social Services Coordinator Sharon Bell, Melanie Yokeley and Mia Dixon, with IRC, Dismas Director Diarra King, and Employment Specialist Curtis Wallace. According to Regional Vice President Cathy Bellew, the police department is a strong advocate of re-entry programs. King also met with Mayor Nancy Vaughan to discuss the fair.
