In mid-September, the Greensboro staff, the Bureau of Prisons and the Industries of the Blind Inc. participated in a meeting at FCC Butner to discuss a future partnership of hiring residents once they are released from prison. The goal is to transfer the sewing, machinist and ware-house production skills learned in prison and employ them with the Industries of the Blind organization. Greensboro Employment Specialist Curtis Wallace (third from right above) represented Dismas at the meeting.
