In mid-April a tornado touched down in Greensboro leaving a path of destruction across eastern parts of the city. As calls for help with the clean-up rang throughout the community, four Dismas residents decided to lend a helping hand. Residents Reginald Edwards (above), Johnathan Catron, James Cuthrell, and Sylvelly Wall ventured into one of the worst areas affected by the tornado. “We lifted and moved everything imaginable, tables, couches, refrigerators, and trees,” said Catron. “There was glass, trees, roofs, and debris everywhere. It felt good to help someone.” The Dismas facility was not in the affected area.
