In early November, 15 Greensboro staff and residents, sporting bright pink Team Dismas Charities t-shirts, not only participated in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk but lead the entire 400- person entourage through Country Park. Making Strides walks unite communities behind the American Cancer Society’s efforts to save lives from breast cancer. Each walk brought people together to make a difference for everyone who has been touched by breast cancer. The funds go toward research, free information and support and to help people reduce their risk by finding it early when it’s most treatable. Over $57,000 was raised.
