In early February, Atlanta resident James Armstrong volunteered to speak before 75 students about his experiences and re-entry challenges during a Speaker’s Bureau event organized by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. The Attorney’s Office asked that the Atlanta facility provide residents for group discussions as a means for them to give back by sharing lessons they have learned. The facility intends to continue the relationship.
