On January 17, the town of Eatonville, Florida held their 38th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Parade. Among the floats, groups, politicians, and bands, were representatives from Dismas Charities Orlando. Director Stephen Ricks, Assistant Director Jerry James, and Case Manager Marven Gee carried a banner showing Dismas’ support, with a small group of residents and family members following. A group of 14 more residents watched the parade from the roadside with Administrative Assistant Nancy Cyr. Macon Director LaTonja Brown, Resident Monitor TyVishia Ford and 17 residents marched from Memorial Gym to the Macon Bibb Government Center in a similar celebratory parade January 20
