In mid-February, Savannah staff visited Park Place Outreach, a teen runaway crisis shelter, to present staff-created gift baskets for the five female and one male teen currently housed at the center. The baskets included nail polish, reading and writing materials, candy, snacks, personal hygiene items and stuffed animals. Savannah Director Katina Wheeler said the shelter has become an on-going site for its donations to those in need. Participants making the delivery (from left) are Social Services Coordinator Brandon Miller, Resident Monitor Kayla Moss, Word Processor Salena Metcalf, Counselor Lawanda Woods, Intern Magyn Pretrzykowski, and Employment Specialist Brittany Freeman.
