Diersen Charities Nashville Supports NAMI

Staff and residents of the Nashville program joined the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) for an April 12 fundraising and awareness walk. Patients, family members, along with walkers from Centerstone, Park Center, Vanderbilt, and Tri-Star Health also took part in the event. The Nashville facility works with NAMI throughout the year on several volunteer projects. For this event the residents stuffed bags with NAMI information and T-shirts. On June 13, Robin Nobling, NAMI Executive Director, presented Director Phoenix Doris with a plaque thanking the facility for their participation. Social Services Coordinator Brittany Ryan and Word Processor Shannon Musgrave brought their furry family members along for a beautiful day in Shelby Park (inset).
