During National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, Corpus Christi staff participated in the annual Walk a Mile in Our Shoes event to raise awareness of the issues. The event was sponsored by the Homeless Issues Partnership, a regional coalition of agencies, individuals, and businesses addressing and resolving items related to homelessness in the Coastal Bend through actions, resources and education. The walk included many of the Coastal Bend’s local agencies and organizations.
